The first major step the van building process is insulating your camper van .  As with everything in your van build, it’s important that you understand how something works in order to most effectively do it, so let’s talk about how insulation works.  Insulation has everything to do with heat transfer, of which there are three types: Radiation: Heat transferred through air (i.e. sunlight).  Radiant heat is primarily tied to van windows.
